Scott Whitaker’s Manatee County roots run deep. He attended Palmetto Elementary, Lincoln Middle, and Palmetto High School.

After his period of service in the US Army, Scott returned to the area and entered the world of local business. He has served his community day and night as president of Arctic Air, an HVAC and plumbing company, since 2008. He is proud to have started the company with four employees and grown it to over 180 employees today.

Scott’s business and military service have instilled in him a commitment to service and community engagement–a commitment he will be honored to keep as City Commissioner of Palmetto.
